There is also a Voter’s Guide, for those who have questions:

Voting is a Privilege and a Right that many in the world do not have, and women have only had in this century.  In Canada the women of Manitoba received the right to vote in 1916 thanks to the efforts of Nellie McClung and her colleagues. The rest of Canadian women were allowed to vote in federal elections when the Women’s Franchise Act was passed in 1918. However, it was not until 1940 that the women of Quebec got the right to vote in provincial elections – the last province to accord them this right to vote.  So go vote!

With your vote, your say is counted when it comes to the issues you care about.  Happy Voting!

For the tougher truth of the revolution that finally moved women to have the right to vote in the U.S.  It is the story of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers, only 90 years ago, and some of the courageous tribulation they went through to achieve the right to vote for generations to come:

It was not until 1920 that women in the U.S. were granted the right to go to the polls and vote.
